Fever-Tree is the world's leading premium mixer brand, with distribution in over 65 countries worldwide. The Company sells a range of carbonated mixers to hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes ('On-Trade') as well as selected retail outlets ("Off-Trade"), approximately 56% of the Group's sales were derived from outside the UK in 2016, with key overseas markets in the US and Europe.

Based in the UK, Fever-Tree was launched in 2005 after it was co-founded by Charles Rolls, now Non-Executive Deputy Chairman and Tim Warrillow, CEO. The brand name chosen due to fever tree being the colloquial name for the cinchona tree from which quinine, the key ingredient for tonic, is found. The founders sourced the highest quality quinine from the Rwanda-Congo border and blended with spring water and eight botanical flavours, including rare ingredients such as marigold extracts and a bitter orange from Tanzania. Crucially, no artificial sweeteners, preservatives or flavourings were added.

Since launching, Fever-Tree has created a range of new products - each taking a similarly intrepid attitude to sourcing quality botanicals. The result are 14 delicious drinks to pair perfectly with a range of premium spirits. The newest flavours include the recently launched Smoky Ginger Ale, designed for premium whiskies and bourbons and Spiced Orange Ginger Ale to complement Scotch whisky, cognac and dark rum.

In April 2013, Fever-Tree was delighted to win the renowned Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. Success at such a prestigious award is further testament of the Group’s unprecedented growth and success globally. As the Group was born and bred in the UK, such an endorsement from the Queen’s Award is a good barometer for any Company who have witnessed such successful growth worldwide whilst providing backing for further expansion and increasing its customer base.

In addition to the Queen’s Award, Fever-Tree has received widespread acclaim from drinks critics, bartenders and gastronomes worldwide, and was most recently titled Brand of the Year at The Grocer Awards and the no.1 best-selling and no.1 trending tonic water in Drinks International’s survey of world’s top 250 bars for the third year running.

Fever-Tree feels honoured to be recognised for its outstanding achievements and with the Queen’s Award recognition in particular, gives the Group confidence for future growth.
